Swansea Wedding

A lovely wedding in Swansea. The day was perfect - no rain which the Wedding Breakfast would have been affected by so I had no qualms using my indoor equipment outside. The speakers were active Yamahas provided by a local company. They also provided cables, stand for the tops to sit on the subs and a mic and mic stand. I connected my digital stage box to the tops and connected the subs to the tops with the provided link ports. The 'stage' was at the far end of the decking and FOH was at this end of the decking. The decking had a narrow channel which the CAT5 cable sat in perfectly making it safe for walking over. This was also the perfect place for the radio mic aerials as the radio handheld mics were used just behind me at the lower level for mc duties and speeches, so I was able to position the direction aerials appropriately. Music was provided by a lovely singer who then had two bandmates join her later - electric guitar with a short stand and SM57 and a bass guitar with a DI output and a Kick drum pedal with a jack output connected to an active Radial DI. Spotify was used for various playlists at other times using my Sonnect Connect Cable that protects the mixer from over voltages from the connected phone. I was thanked for staying to the end leaving at 1am and the bride and groom were so happy they gave me a substantial tip and extra wedding cake and pizza!
